Giancarlo Cabras Riding Centre is in Chia, in the heart of southern Sardinia, just a few minutes from some of the island’s most beautiful beaches.
With experience, passion and reliable horses, Giancarlo guides adults and children on horseback rides through nature, amid the scents of Mediterranean scrub, unspoilt landscapes and unforgettable views.
The rides are designed for beginners and experienced riders alike, offering a chance to experience Sardinia in an authentic, relaxed and safe way.

Rides
Each ride is tailored to the riders’ experience, so beginners, children and experienced riders can enjoy it safely and comfortably. For your comfort, we recommend long trousers and suitable footwear. Helmets and chaps are available for adults and children. Insurance is included with every ride. We speak Italian, German and English.
2 hours
Capo Spartivento Lighthouse
After Cala Cipolla, the route continues uphill to the lighthouse. The view from there is truly breathtaking.
3 hours
Nuraghe di Riu Perdosu
A scenic route through the Mediterranean scrub. From the nuraghe, you can admire the entire coast from Chia to Tuerredda and Capo Malfatano.
Full day
Full-day horseback trek
Through mountains and woodland and along beaches. Overnight stay in a tent with sleeping bags and mats. Alternatively, overnight accommodation can be arranged at a local agriturismo.
